Hello and welcome to the new-born Mother Whale Eyeless Compound. Have patience for the site is currently under development. From the ashes of the psychedelic pop-punk Houston outfit Twenty-Three, rises MotherWhaleEyeless, an electronica group whose influences range from Eno to the Residents. Sample-heavy tunes vary from delicate ambient soundscapes sprinkled with acoustic instruments, to industrial freak-outs. As their sound is ever evolving, it is hard to pin down the style. MWE has 13 full length releases on Houston's Seedenstem Records. This label has releases and compilations by such artists as Twenty-Three, Middlefinger, Walking Timebombs, Voltage and Billyclub.
